Cameyo: competent, freeware application virtualization, you can create portable executable files from any application

Virtualization software, if you are not familiar with it, is a process by which a particular programme is run in a "virtual layer", where the interaction with the operating system and the host environment is temporary and will be automatically cancelled after virtual exited (more commonly referred to as a "sandboxed"), until the next time run virtualized applications. Most virtualization software is made for security reasons, for testing purposes or in order to make the program portable.
Cameyo is free software virtualization program, which is one of only two free applications of its kind, the other above-mentioned Altiris SVS, but works only with 32-bit Windows.Cameyo, by contrast, is running in 32-bit and 64-bit operating systems, although still in its early stages, is actively developing Cameyo, unlike IFOR, which has been on hold since it was acquired by a couple of years ago.
One drawback, though, is that unlike the SAF, initial Setup program is not virtual, at least in the version I tested.
